Topic: The 2014 “Sango Scamper Road Race”
The 2014 “Sango Scamper Road Race” will be held Saturday, October 25th. There will be 10K and 5K courses and the one –mile scenic stroll. The event is open to all ages and abilities. There is a wheelchair division as well. This is a benefit for Habitat for Humanity and Sango United Methodist Church, located at 3301 Sango Road in Clarksville, TN. Boys and girls in 1st grade through 8th grade are invited to participate in “Upward Basketball”. It helps develop young athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially. They have one practice per week beginning the week of December 8th and one game per week beginning January 17th. Awards will be given on March 7, 2015. Every player must attend an evaluation. Evaluation date choices are October 20, 21, 23, 27, 28, and 30, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.; or Saturday, November 1st, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. They will be at Second Baptist’s Activity Center.
